A study reclaimed in Durham City

A long-standing client's home office had become unusable, with the desk and floor buried under years of accumulated paperwork and possessions.

The challenge: Years of clutter had blocked the desk and much of the floor. The client felt overwhelmed and embarrassed, and had stopped using the room entirely.

Our approach: We worked methodically over two days, sorting every item with the client, recycling paper, recovering important documents and deep cleaning the space.

The result: A calm, fully usable study — the client described walking back in as 'a weight lifted'.

Extreme storeroom clearance & sanitisation

A utility and storage cupboard had become tightly packed, with cleaning chemicals, bags and clutter blocking safe access.

The challenge: Restricted access and a build-up of items created both a trip hazard and a fire risk in a confined space.

Our approach: Our team cleared, sorted and reorganised the entire cupboard, disposing of hazardous items safely and sanitising every surface.

The result: An organised, safe and easy-to-use storage space with clearly arranged shelving.

Compassionate bedroom clearance

A family asked for help with a bedroom and wardrobe that had become impossible to manage following a bereavement.

The challenge: The room held many sentimental items, making the emotional side of the clearance just as important as the practical one.
